Name: Achel Deudrou

House Affiliation: Hufflepuff Third Year - left in January

Notes on Leaving: Just after the New Year Achel returned to South America where his parents were based. Achel remains there working on ******* and ******** with ******* in regard to ******* with his parents. (Censored by Ministry of Magic) .

Appearance: Quite handsome (for a Hufflepuff), tall, tanned and well built. Somewhat scruffy in a appealing way.

Family Background: Achel is Egreen's cousin as their mothers are sisters. His parents work for the Ministry in South America. Achel has attended Hogwarts from time to time. He was placed in Hufflepuff like his Aunt, Mother and Father. Less is known of Mr and Mrs Deudrou except they where recruited into the ministry straight out of school after being identified as Floramancers

General Background:Achel likes to be around plants (when he is around at all). He was generally liked by everyone, and not just because of his part in the Yule ball Adventure in which the antidode he brewed pretty much saved the day. Unlike Egreen he seems to be able to be nice without trying. Achel and Egreen have a good, if not close relationship.

Achel was very weak in general magic's, but extremely strong in earth and plant castings. It seems probable that he too (like his parents) is a Floramancer, especially when Yule's events are taken into consideration.

Pet: His Owl, "Pite" likes mice, like all Owls, and doesn't like the heat, which is tough considering where he is living at present

Wand: Short Rosewood Wand

Other Information: He was Nimue Hawkwood's first boyfriend. They were drawn together by their mutual affinity to plant kingdom. He was quite upset when news of her bethothal to Marvo was revealed by Dumbledore at the Yule Ball. She had kept this news from him. As a result they became somewhat estranged on their return in the New Year. This wasn't resolved before the summons arrived for his return to South America.
