Appearance: Ali is a 15 year-old girl with long, black, wavy hair and olive green eyes. She is unusually short for age (4' 10"), has a tan skin complexion

Family Background: She comes from a long line of Italian witches and wizards. She is the only daughter Andrea and Joseph Bonavelli and who both study magical animals. Because of the large amount of field work her parents do, Ali is only around children her age at school. Ali knows a large amount about magical animals and other magical beings from her parents work. She has a natural talent for sketching detailed drawings of what she sees, and always tries to observe things before action. She is far more comfortable in the natural world than a stuffy old castle, but ::sighs:: her studies are very important to her in her goal of pleasing her parents. This causes her to appear to be a bit anti-social, although she always tries to be friendly. Since she has spent so little of her time with other people, especially other kids, she finds that large congregations of them make her nervous.
