Family Background: From the Republic of Ireland. Witch mother who is deceased and an stepfather who seems very mean. Recently revealed to Drake that her step dad is actually a 'squib'. Has a number of brothers, none who appear to be magically gifted. Only recently learned she was a witch as stepfather kept letter from her.
Talents/Special Abilities: None advised.
PetTyris, a flying squirrel that her uncle found in a Japanese animal shelter and brought home for his niece. Very chattery and seems to be into everything. Breana appears to understand it and vice versa.
Wand: willow with unicorn hair.
Other Information: Due to her step dad's withholding of information about her magical heritage Breana has started her studies at a very late age only coming to Hogwarts after the Easter spring break. At first she didn't believe that people like witches and wizards existed or magic was real.
Mr. White, a local wizard to Breana's part of Ireland, has made himself known to her brothers. He has suggested that he tutor Breana so she can be educated at home. However, having gained some independence and a few new friends at Hogwarts, Breana is resisting this idea. Mr. White brought her brothers to Hogsmeade and a rather difficult scene occurred in the Three Broomsticks as one of her brothers insisted on dragging her back home! Situation was calmed down and it was left that Breana may spend the summer being taught by Mr. White and then allowed to return to Hogwarts in the autumn. Breana is waiting for an important owl she was advised would soon come.
Professor Flitwick was hoping to meet with her family during the summer. However, as yet uncertain if they were persuaded to allow her to return.
