Appearance: She is half-Veela and her appearance shows this exotic heritage. She is tall and slender yet 'well developed' for her age. Her hair is dark and smooth; her eyes golden-brown. Long nails, painted blood red.

Family Background: German. Not much information given about family to date. Has older brothers (possibly half-brothers as uncertain if Veelas give birth to male children). Her father attended Hogwarts and was a Slytherin. Her older brothers have all graduated from Durmstrang. Katia attended Durmstrang Academy until winter term. Her parents apparently weren't happy with the fact the Dark Arts were taught there.

Talents/Special Abilities: Has some Veela characteristics. Threw fire at Dylan and Niki during Valentine Ball and later semi-transformed to monstrous form when attacked by Fire Demon.

Other Information: Ran into trouble on her first day when she introduced herself to Professor Snape. He told her to: "Get that paint off your nails and into regulation cut robes NOW!"

Somewhat of a nasty piece of work from the outset, she has no female friends. Arcadia Fudge made her feel welcome by giving her some sweets on her first day which resulted in Katia losing her looks. They briefly became allies when Arcadia learnt of the existence of the enchanted pendant which caused Andy Warden to transform to Asriel Gtomik.

Katia appeared to be strongly drawn to Asriel and wished him to take over Andy's body permanently. Arcadia assisted Katia in stealing the pendant by providing her with a Polyjuice potion. However, afterwards Arcadia 'planted' the potion ingredients and brewing instruments in Katia's belongings. These were found by Randal and Marvo along with an invisibility cloak. When this was needed to cover up Marvo's presence in the Slytherin dorm, he kept it as a souvenir.

As Katia was also enjoying stirring up trouble for Niki Pheidippides with Elia Concinni. She may have assisted Elia in her campaign against Niki.

Since Asriel/Andy's disappearance Katia has become more solitary. With the disappearance of her invisibility cloak, she is likely aware she is under suspicion.
