Marvo (Malcolm) D. Ward

Name: Marvo (Malcolm) Dexter Ward

Appearance: Marvo looks both young and old for his age, depending on the situation. Having recently undergone a very serious exercise regime, while also using a 'time-turner' his physical age is nearer to that of a 15-year-old. His hair is jet black and usually in a short ponytail, however the temples have grey streaks, a momento of the events of 2000 at Hogwarts. His physic is not striking, but it is obvious he works out.

Family Background: Marvo is the third son of Titus D. Ward and Rose Ward-Smith. The Ward family are well known for being in the past Dark Wizards, and were until not long before the fall of Voldemort his supporters. However, Titus fell in love and married a muggle born witch and disagreed so strongly with the Deatheaters over 'Mud Bloods' that he joined the Ministry of Magic and helped in the battle during the Great War. Titus has written a book 'Touched by Darkness'. There is some association between Marvo's Father and Professor Snape, but this has not yet been explored or made public.

After the War the Ward family moved next door to the Hawkwood family. Emrys Hawkwood had married Rose's best friend Viviane and Marvo and Nimue (Elizabeth) Hawkwood became close childhood friends, until the Hawkwoods moved away and Marvo went into 'training'

Talents/Special Abilities: Marvo is a 'trainee' Auror. Part of a special unit of Bureau 13 dealing with picking children at an early age so to prepare them better, and to help with situations that only require someone younger (for example, infiltrating Hogwarts)

During his training an 'incident' occurred where he lost an eye, and it has been replaced with a magic eye, that glows red when being used. This eye allows him to memorise any spell he reads (but not necessarily be able to cast it if it is too powerful) and can also travel outside his body.

After the events at Hogwarts in 2000 Marvo's wand has been permanently welded to his left hand. He has the ability to 'hide' this wand with the assistance of an illusion charm on his wrist.

Pet: He has a pet cat called Kit with he 'inherited' from Joss after she died. However, as he is away from Hogwarts a lot it is being looked after by Kat Black. Family Owl named Pippin.

Other Information: Even with (or possibly because) of his training Marvo is quite immature for his age, especially when it comes to relationships with others. He tends to take things at face value and once he has made his mind up about something it is very hard to change his mind. However, if you can change it, then he never holds a grudge.

Marvo is currently in a relationship with Kat Back, who he loves very dearly. For a time last year he was bethothed to Nimue Hawkwood, in an arranged marruage. This has since been dissolved though he and Nimue remain close friends.

Marvo is a great admirer of Sirius Black and the Marauders, considering them to be the greatest of heroes, and also 'Mad Eye' moody, his mentor at Bureau 13.

His favourite food is Bacon and he finds Quidditch boring.
