Name: Nathan Hades Lagrand

Appearance: A tall, goodlooking boy with a very handsome face, athletic figure and shining blond hair, although his greyish-blue eyes usually look very cold and calculating.

Family Background: Nathan's father Hades Lagrand is Ambassador to the French Ministry of Magic and went to Beauxbatons. His mother Elaine (born Elaine Wandwood, the wandwoods being a very old wizarding family) was a Ravenclaw. The family now lives in England, but the 7 children grew up bilingual with French and English.

Hades Lagrand played Quidditch for the French National Team before deciding upon his Ministry career and would love to see his son follow his footsteps which seems very unlikely at the moment. He also knows Severus Snape very well, they seem to be friends.

Talents/Special Abilities: Nathan has a talent in finding people's weaknesses and in using them to his purposes. He is also very charming and intelligent. He spends a great deal of his time studying alone in a quiet corner, but he's not considered a book-worm. He's especially interested in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Pet: Eagle Owl Veneficus, a trustworthy messenger

Wand: 13 1/2" which appear to be made of ash, but Nathan insist on keeping the core ingredient a secret.

Other Information:Nathan has transferred from Beauxbatons not very long ago. Rumors have it that he was forced to leave school, he himself explains that his father has asked him to go to Hogwarts and have an eye on Morticia.

He seems to have a girlfriend called Belle Racine at Beauxbatons and sends her a lot of letters.

Coming from a long line of pure-blood wizards, he's surprisingly open for anything concerning Muggles. He reads any Muggle literature he can find. His best friend Drake, who was at Durmstrang but is now an Assistant Teacher at Hogwarts, is muggle-born (Nathan's father is not too happy about this friendship).

Nathan has impressed Snape and other teachers through his knowledge and wizarding talent.
