Appearance: Tall and athletic with sandy-brown hair which is worn quite short and hazel eyes. Good-looking with a quick smile. Has a pleasant soft Scottish accent.

Family Background: A native Scot, very proud of his Sinclair Clan heritage. Wizard born though his older sister has married a muggle. Parents have forbidden him to play Quidditch for Gryffindor in order that he concentrate on his NEWTS. He tended to live, breath and sleep Quidditch but now is having to think about other things.

Other Information: Jon is what is described as 'Head Boy material'. He is a good student, excels at Quidditch and is popular with his peers. Promoted to Prefect in his Third Year, he very much believes in the 'chain of command'. Nimue thinks Jon would love to see Gryffindor House run like a military school and this is a fairly accurate assessment.

Not so much stuffy as someone who plays by the rules. Over all quite friendly but likes to be kept 'in the loop'. Admires Professor McGonagall greatly. He feels competitive with Marvo, whom he always addresses as 'Ward'. Very courteous towards girls though has no serious girlfriend. Was seeing a Hufflepuff girl for a while but his need to concentrate on his studies led that to being broken off.

Is drawn to Shinrei Hikari primarily because of the discipline developed during her training in the stricter environment of the Clan Kossawa. Also, he feels naturally protective of her.
