Appearance: Zarame is graceful and polite, almost to a fault. She has a sort of icy politeness about her that suggest superiority without telling it outright. She seems to glide effortlessly over the floor taking little steps, her posture wonderful and her gaze always tilted a little bit down.
Zarame has long black hair that is tied into an elaborate bun at the back-top of her head. There are two ivory combs with silver threads twining around them and pearl inlets on either side of the bun. Her eyes are a startling blue-grey, though she is all japanese. She has a soft voice, yet it denotes strength. Her frame is willowy, and her face is always emotionless unless she wishes it to be otherwise. She harbours some bitterness toward her big-sister-to-be back in japan, but does not show it.
Family Background: Zarame Shinja was born in Kyoto, Japan. She was sold into being a slave in a house for geisha when she was three years old. she began to learn the arts of geisha (shamisen, dance, tea ceremony, flute, drum, etc) a year after she arrived, becoming well-practised in the art of dance and tea ceremony. she could do very well on the shamisen, too.
When she was 14, zarame was to become an apprentice geisha. But the big sister (learned geisha) that was to adopt her as the little sister (apprentice geisha) ran off with her wealthy man, thus leaving zarame without a big sister. the house she lived in thrust her out, saying they could no longer afford such a girl as zarame.
Zarame was taken pity upon and thus the house that she had lived in found her a good wizarding school, sicne they had discovered that she had come talent in that area. they found hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry the most prestigious school and thus sent her there.
